Abstract

Digging in a city involves looking for traces of everyday life. One of the most common and numerous elements in almost all excavations are the remains of pottery or ceramics, whether they be containers, containers or table and kitchen ware. The study of ceramics in the case of Rosario, of the ceramic complexes corresponding to tableware and kitchen tableware (pots, plates, cups, fountains, etc.), allows us to analyze, investigate and relate important items such as: type of food, relative chronology, industry, commerce, symbolic and aesthetic aspects, social relations, etc.) However, we must clarify the fragmentation of the samples, their representativeness and the type of classification and interpretation of the same.
