Abstract

In this paper I deal with some epistemological and procedural questions followed in the investigations that aim to achieve knowledge. I will briefly present two cases of battlefields, one of which has been taken as a methodological matrix applicable to other sites of the same type. Finally, I will analyze some processes of formation and transformation of sites and I will make some reflections.
