In the southern section of the Comechingones Mountains, Department Fourth River, Province of Córdoba, have been located numerous rural archaeological sites whose antiquity is located in the period between the late colonial period and the first decades of the twentieth century. This work presents one of them, the Casco Antiguo de Piedra Blanca, located in the foothills and on the right bank of the White Stone river, main course of the upper basin of the Fourth river.This site is considered representative of the material living conditions that had in the second half of the nineteenth century rural residents of the mountain region located at the top of the socio-economic scale. The study seeks to advance their knowledge, focusing on the main constructive features that their structures possess and making chronological-functional inferences about them.
